The idea of the project was a photo exibition which mixed the portraits of 12 Italian actors with an image created by a stencil on the walls of the prison cells of the characters they interpreted. They were 12 photos to denounce 12 types of death penalty around the world. My role was to transform the images on paper of the artist Desiderio Sanzi on stencil, respecting rules and laws of its world Moreover, i have designed a variation of the Amnesty International institutional font on stencil to create the logo of the event to be used in all the promotional and informative materials linked to the event itself.
Il concept del progetto era una mostra fotografica che mescolasse i ritratti di dodici attori italiani con una figura lasciata da uno stencil sui muri delle celle dei personaggi interpretati, 12 foto per denunciare 12 tipologie di pena di morte presenti nel mondo. Il mio compito è stato trasformare le illustrazioni su carta dell’artista Desiderio Sanzi in stencil, rispettando regole e leggi di questo mondo. Inoltre ho progettato una variante del font istituzionale di Amnesty International in versione stencil per la creazione del logotipo dell’evento e per i testi di tutti i materiali promozionali e informativi legati allo stesso.
